Guys,
I just re-watched your 3 DOORS DOWN CONCERT DVD (on my new wide-screen Sony Vaio PC) recorded LIVE of your show from Houston recorded in HD with Noel Lee running MONSTER MUSIC sound. I also used my new monster "beat" headphones too. DAMN.... I've been to many concerts...but THIS experience was the BEST yet. The many different cam shots showed EVERY band member giving it their fucking ALL. Seriously, I've never been able to really get a handle on each band member in their best moments LIVE giving the show "everything" they had to give. It blew my mind. Noel Lee captured the music the best way I have EVER heard in either LIVE or taped for a DVD.
Many years ago I caught a VHS show of David Gilmore "the delicate sound of thunder" where they used all digital equipment to get the recording. It was awesome back then. ....but guys, you, your LIVE crew, your video crew AND Mr. Lee has set a new bar in HD recorded concerts. That if at all, no one will ever be able to top. Thank you all for going that extra mile and creating a master piece that (i know) millions who love your music will be able to enjoy for many years to come.
