One Less Reason Added To All Star Rock Line Up; Auction Items; Donations to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and Mississippi Emergency Relief Fund Tunica, MS (November 10, 2011)

Multi-Platinum rock super stars 3 Doors Down have announced that Tennessee natives One Less Reason will join the line up with hard rockers Seether for their 8th annual The Better Life Foundation concert at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, MS on Saturday, November 19th.  They have also revealed some of the coveted silent auction items that will be available at this year’s benefit which include guitars signed by Kenny Chesney, Bush, Daughtry, Miranda Lambert, Nikki Sixx and many other Rock and Country greats, as well as, sports memorabilia signed by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Brett Farve, Hank Baskett, Danika Patrick, the Cincinnati Bengals and other priceless items from professional and college athletics.  The band also announced that they will make donations to local charities Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and Mississippi Emergency Relief Fund.

This year’s event, sponsored by the Mississippi Army National Guard and Paul Benton, will host an array of activities in addition to the silent auction including a charity motorcycle ride which leaves from Southern Thunder Harley in Southaven, a raffle for the Citizen Soldier IV motorcycle valued at $73,000, and live performance.   Tickets for the charity motorcycle ride ($25 includes ride, shirt and food & drinks at the rider reception) and the raffle ($10) can be purchased in advance through www.dixiethunderrun.net and at the Horseshoe Casino Gift Shop.   Leading the motorcycle ride is Brad Arnold of 3 Doors Down, Brigitte Bourget, designer of the “2011 Citizen Soldier IV Bourget Endeavor” and 1SG David Spencer, last year’s motorcycle raffle winner, just back from Iraq.  1SG Spencer will be riding the CS III that he won at last year’s event. Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster.com or can be charged by phone at (800) 745-3000 and will also be available at the Horseshoe Box Office (on show day only).
